Trilogy Trek-a-Thon Volunteers

Thank you for volunteering to help with the annual Trilogy Trek-a-Thon, a fundraiser benefitting Seattle Children's Research and Uncompensated Care.

Our Trek-a-Thon follows the beautiful wooded trails through the Trilogy community with sidewalk and virtual options.

COme Prepared

All volunteers are asked to come prepared with the following:

  • Sign Waiver: If you have not already registered online, please electronically sign your Waiver by Registering for the Trek-a-thon, with the $0 option - Fill out the info, choose the "Infant (2 & under) or Volunteer ($0.00)" option, and make sure to click the box by the "I have read and agree to the terms above." under the TERMS, CONDITIONS & WAIVER*. - Click here to access the Trek-a-Thon Info Webpage, then click "CLICK HERE NOW TO REGISTER"

  • Cell Phone -- to contact other volunteers or in case of emergency!

  • Water or Food -- Please bring your own pre-filled water bottle.
    Availability of beverages or food is not guaranteed at the event.

  • Weather-Appropriate Clothing -- this event is rain or shine! 

  • Sunscreen -- hopefully we will need it!

  • Chairs or Cushions -- cushions for registration volunteers who will be seated at tables; chairs will be provided. â€‹

Parking

Volunteers should carpool when possible. Those who are physically capable should park on surrounding streets to leave parking available for those who are not familiar with the area.

Shifts

Registration

Volunteers should arrive at the Registration Area in the walkway between the Cascade Club and Cedar Lodge by 8:00 am to get your Safety Vest and answer any questions you have.  You should plan to work until 1:00 pm; the event may end early. 

 

Trail

There will be Trail Markers this year; participants will follow the map and/or the Google Online Trilogy Map. 

saturday - Schedule

  • 8:00 am - Registration volunteers check in at Registration Area - Answer Questions & get Safety Vests
    8:30 am - Volunteers go to Volunteer Stations; make Registration Area ready for Participants

  • 9:00 am - Trek-a-Thon Start (may have early starters); check-in with Smartphone App

    • Refer any issues to Customer Service Table

  • 11:00 am - Trek-a-Thon Check-In ends.

  • 1:00 pm - Trek-a-Thon officially ends (event may end early); cleanup Registration Area.
