Registration / QR Code

 01  How do I register for the Trek-a-Thon?  What if I need help?

Go to our online registration site via our Trek-a-Thon information website: https://patharristrilogygu.wixsite.com/guild/trilogy-trekathon

To help us offset credit card & processing fees, you may add 3% to your Donation;
> however, there is no way for our website software to add 3% to the Registration Fees.

The Registration Website has an easy way to copy of the address from the registration to the "Billing Information";
> however, it also copies the Emergency Contact Phone Number into the Phone Number field for the Billing Information.

In the Billing Information Phone field, please check this is YOUR phone number and not your Emergency Contact's number.

 02  Are we required to check in for the Trek-a-Thon and where?

​​

Yes! For safety reasons, all participants are required to check in at the Registration Table.

Check-In will be located in the walkway between the main Cascade Club and the Cedar Lodge. 

​

 03  Will there be water, drinks, or food available?

​

Please bring your own pre-filled water bottle.  
No beverages or food will be sold at the event.

Availability of beverages or food is not guaranteed at the event.

 04  How do I check in using a QR Code?

​​

After registering and electronically signing the waiver, you are emailed a receipt, which includes a QR code.
You can save the QR code electronically on your phone or print it.
Registrars will scan your code to check you in automatically.

​

 05  What is a QR Code?

​​

A QR Code is a matrix barcode that is used to communicate information.
Each participant is given a QR Code upon registration, which enables a quick, contact-free check-in.

​

 06  I forgot my QR Code. Can I still check in?

​​

You can check in by name, it just takes longer. 

​

 07  I didn't receive a QR Code. How do I get one?

 

Please check the email you registered with for an email with subject: Registration Confirmation To Pat Harris Trilogy Guild.

Please also check your email Spam folder.

Your receipt will have a QR Code.

 08  How can I get a copy of the Waiver?

 09  After I park, where do I check-in?

 

Check-In will be located in the walkway between the main Cascade Club and the Cedar Lodge.

Please have your QR Code ready to be scanned for check-in.

 10  If parking lot is full, where should I park?

 

If the parking lot is full, you're welcome to park on the surrounding streets.

​

 11  ​Do I need to check in with anyone after I complete my walk?

 

No, after you complete your walk, you're done!  Yet, you can come to our "Finish Line", take a photo, and then visit the Health and Wellness Fair from 10am to 2pm.  
 

 12  ​If I pay by credit card, how will the charge show on my statement?

 

Charges to your credit card will show as: "TRILOGY TREK-A-THON"
 

 13  ​How do I pay by check?

 

Checks are not accepted for this Trekathon, due to the work to process.

Please pay via Credit Card to help our Trekathon team streamline our processes.

 
Distances

 14  Is there a minimum distance requirement?

​​

No. Choose any distance within your comfort zone.
You can also explore our Trilogy Trails virtually with our 
Lyle Hanson Virtual Trek-a-Thon option. 

​

 15  Can we walk a longer distance?

​​

Yes. You can walk a route more than once if you want to participate on the day of the event, or you can walk your own route, or you can walk "virtually"  with the Lyle Hanson Virtual Trek-a-Thon option. 

​

 16  Is there a walk that is stroller, scooter or wheelchair accessible?

​​

Since you can choose your route, we recommend walking on the sidewalks that are stroller, scooter or wheelchair accessible. 
Strollers and scooters can navigate the 1.5 mile route, but it is not designed for wheelchairs. 

The Lyle Hanson Virtual Trek-a-Thon is designed for any participant who is not able to attend the event or wants to walk a route virtually.

 17  Is my registration tax deductible?

​​

No, as we're providing goods & services in the form of the experience.

 18  Is there a minimum distance required for the Lyle Hanson Virtual Trek-a-Thon?

No! You can walk whatever distance is comfortable or just watch the videos on the Lyle Hanson Virtual Trek-a-Thon webpage.

 19  Do Lyle Hanson Virtual Trek-a-Thon participants get the drawstring backpack?

​​

Lyle Hanson Virtual Trek-a-Thon participants do not receive a backpack.
 

 20  I signed up for the Lyle Hanson Virtual Trek-a-Thon, but I have decided to attend in person. How do I change my registration?

​​

You don't need to change anything! Just present your QR Code to check in at the event.

 21  How can I get my family who live in another state or who can't attend involved?

We have several ways to get others involved to contribute to the success of our Trek-a-Thon!

 22  How can I make this fundraiser more successful?

​​

Ask your family and friends to sponsor you on your walk!
Every participant, including
Lyle Hanson Virtual Trek-a-Thon participants, can set up an individual fundraising page.

 23  How do I create my own fundraising page?

 

Go to the Fundraising webpage via our Trek-a-Thon information website:

and click "Fundraise For This Cause" in the upper-right corner.
Follow the prompts to customize your page by adding a photo and personal request for support.

 24  Am I required to meet a minimum goal on my fundraiser?

 

No! Set a goal that shows your family and friends that you are committed to supporting Seattle Children's, but challenge yourself!

 25  Can I change my fundraising goal later?

 

Yes. You may. update your goal or page content at any time.

Click "Login" on the top menu bar to make edits.
But be sure to hit "Save" and then "Publish" to make your changes public.

 26  I want to sponsor a friend who is walking. How do I find their fundraising page?

 

Go to the Fundraising webpage via our Trek-a-Thon information website:

Click "Fundraise For This Cause" in the upper-right corner.
Click the box that says "Select an individual to support" and choose their name from the dropdown list.
You can also search by name from the same page.

 27  ​If I pay by credit card, how will the charge show on my statement?

 28  ​Why won't the Donation/Fundraising website accept my email?

 

The Donation/Fundraising site is a bit picky and doesn't like email addresses with any spaces (on the front or on the back). 
Just delete any leading or trailing spaces from your email and that should correct the problem.  

 
Weather

 29  Will weather cause the Trek-a-Thon to be canceled?

​​

Please wear weather-appropriate clothing -- this event is rain or shine! 
We will only cancel for weather if we have lightning, high winds, or other dangerous conditions.
If the in-person Trek-a-Thon is cancelled, you will be able to participate in the
Lyle Hanson Virtual Trek-a-Thon.

 30  Do Lyle Hanson Virtual Trek-a-Thon participants get the drawstring backpack (swag bag)?

​​

No. Lyle Hanson Virtual Trek-a-Thon participants do not receive a backpack.

 31  What kind of Covid-19 precautions will there be at the Trek-a-Thon?

We will comply with current CDC, Washington state, and King County requirements.  
We ask that participants & volunteers not come if sick and for everyone to feel free to wear a mask.

 35  What does the Pat Harris Trilogy Guild do?
​

The Pat Harris Trilogy Guild is a group of over 100 dedicated Trilogy residents who believe in Seattle Children’s mission.

Our Guild is one of over 400 guilds and auxiliaries of the Seattle Children’s Hospital Guild Association. 

We raise money by having fun events, such as the Trek-a-Thon, that include our Trilogy community. 

The proceeds raised through this Trek-a-Thon and the other events that we sponsor benefit Research and Uncompensated Care at Seattle Children’s.

 36  How can I join the Pat Harris Trilogy Guild?
​

If you’re a Trilogy at Redmond Ridge resident, we would love to have you join us!
